Charles Milles Manson (Cincinnati, 12 November 1934) is an American criminal.
Manson, the cult leader of the so-called Manson Family, and became as notorious for its condemnation to life imprisonment because of murder and instigation to do so, in what has become known as the case Tate / La Bianca (aka the “Manson murders” ), which in 1969 attracted much attention.
During the night of 8 August 9, 1969 urged members of the so-called Manson family, the house of actress Sharon Tate. Tate, who was eight months pregnant by Roman Polanski, was present together with some friends brutally murdered. The 18-year-old Steve Parent was the first victim. He was no friend of Sharon Tate, but he had visited the house of the caretaker, William Garretson . Just when he wanted to leave his car to the ground, he was shot four times by Tex Watson.
